Vanillin, super ripe fruit, nothing really wrong here, other than the wine seems a little like a caricature, with loads of sweet new oak, ABV (15%) is quite high, yet it’s absolutely still drinkable, not intended as criticism, but not really an enjoyable or interesting drink at this point?? (Which, in fairness, is my fault for holding this too long??)

Ripe, rich black fruit aromas and flavors, definitely a fruit bomb style, medium-long finish, good.

Dark color, rich ripe fruit, this shows a tad boozy (14.9% ABV), but still quite nice California Syrah, not the same structure or balance of the Colbourn Ranch, more fruit bomb also, very good.
