Interesting #blaufrankisch my good friend Jorge Orte said that a good descriptor for blaufrankisch is like a mix between Pinot and Syrah and that pretty much describes this wine to a T. Deep garnet and slightly hazy. Medium intensity aromas of cranberries, cherries and red apples. Secondary aromas of toast and cedar. Tertiary aromas of leather, resin and cracked pepper. The wine is dry with high acidity, pronounced fine grained tannins and high alcohol. The wine is medium+ bodied and has medium+ intensity flavors of red fruits, pepper and spices. The finish is medium plus and the quality is just very good because it's lacking intensity on the nose and the flavors are lacking complexity.
