Vintage 2014 | WOTN and quite a surprise. Most tasters thought this to be Bordeaux. I even heard: Pomerol. I was hesitant to set this in a blind tasting, not sure it would deliver. So I tasted this before with La Dominique 14 next to it. No problem at all. This is such a great effort. A real ‘trouvaille’! See earlier notes. Rich wine. Authentic Greek grape with 24 months barrel aging on new oak. Try to find it and be surprised.

Sep 15th, 2024Vintage 2014 | With 10 y this wine shows vanilla and spicyness, rondeur and souplesse, especially after some hours aeration. Beautiful! Paired with entrecôte.

Delicious, smooth, easy and rich. Holds up remarkably well for its age (17 years!). So, so special.

Специи, эвкалипт, кора, вишня, графит, кожа, подлесок. Полный вкус, шикарные танины, долгое, чуть вяжущее древесное послевкусие с нотами ванили. Чуть жарковато, но аккуратно, строго. Только пришло в идеальную готовность и еще, полагаю, поживет лет восемь-десять. Красивое вино.

So dark and smooth, ridiculously rich...but in a good way. Well balanced and just straight delicious. I would buy a case if I have my wine suitcase with me!
