Monterey County Pinot Noir

Wayy better than Expected. Tastes like Pinot. Insane value at Costco. Could be the good vintage I think.

My wife picked this up at Sams Club, (where everything is 50% off before they close the Milwaukee stores.) The label says, "Located on Monterey's pacific coast where the cool fog sweeps in each evening". As a soldier once stationed at Fort Ord, I can attest to the coastal fog part. This wine has great berry flavors, mild acidity, and a semi dry finish. A very enjoyable taste at a bargain price. Pairs well with beef tenderloin.

Let this breathe for an hour or so and you will be pleasantly surprised. Even though a little short on the length it is surprisingly balanced with some great flavors.

First drink is a little strong but it settles down and it pretty tasty

If you like your wine filtered through Kingsford charcoal then this is for you. Really over oaked with pronounced hints of day old ash tray.

A nice well balanced light Pinot Noir. Easy drinking. Reasonable price. Good to have as a basic always in stock go to Pinot. 2014 Vintage

Nice Pinot after getting sunburned. Refreshing. Nice soft balance.
