It’s an 8 as a wine, but it’d be a 9.5 amongst just wines under $10. I got it for $9 at Walmart. My expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike many budget wines, the Estancia California Pinot Noir 2023 is evenly sweet with a flavor that isn’t great, but does not have any tinges of chemicals. It has a good weight … not too to thin/watery. The finish is smooth. I was very pleased with the with this purchase and will happily try it again.
