Oscar party!! Usually not a fan of merlot, but this blend was quite delicious. Paired well with grilled cheese and short rib sandwiches.

The wine opens up nicely, with strawberry, cranberry, and plum flavors. Tannins are mild. The wine took an hour to open up, so much of a difference that at first I believed it to be watered down or lacking body. Absolutely amazing what air will do for a wine. This ended up being lovely in structure, medium body, tasty and fun. A lively wine to drink with dinner.
