@Delectablewine this is not Roussanne, it’s a Grenache blend. That said, this shows concentrated, somewhat sappy red berries backed by a savory character adding some complexity. Chalky tannins add texture to the otherwise juicy finish. Aromatics trail the palate a bit, but show similar character. This has benefitted from a few years in the bottle

Denser than other cuvées from Anglore. Not terribly complex, but beautiful breadth of aromatics. Riper black berries, pepper.

My first try of their reds. The Grenache character of fresh raspberry & strawberry notes jumps out quickly. Some herbal/pepper & textural structure comes up with some air. I can't think of too many better summer reds to drink with a little chill & some seared salmon on a salad.

Too sweet for my taste.
90% Grenache Noit, 10% Clairette.
