Light salmon pink, excellent clarity. Strawberry and herb notes in nose. Strawberry and lemon in mouth, lees creaminess. Rounded mouthfeel, dry, slight skin astringency. A crowd pleaser, not terribly complex but honest dry rose.

This was my favorite of the roses we had in class. I liked the blanc des noirs of the sparklings the best and now the pinot noir of the roses. I think I might like pinot noir… Still had the cursory rose notes like strawberry and citrus, but I always think that pinot noir offers more complexity and funk. It was refreshing but not to the point of being one note. Solid and reliable. Also will be coming with me to the pool. It is cool that in this class I have gotten to figure out that I like pinot noir in all its forms.
