Deep gold in the glass. This bottle was super reductive at first; but behind the pungent barnyard was lots of smoke and flint, and a seriously loaded palate of stony minerals and firm, just-ripe tropical-leaning fruits. So concentrated on the palate with dried salty yellow plums and a sweetness of ripe apples on the finish. Delicious. Definitely needed a decant though.

My favorite kind of white wine. Plum and starfruit, plus a slightly nutty, salty minerality. Clean and lengthy, not just in the finish but the fruit. Not enough good words to say.

Briney, saline, limestone. Color influenced by some skin contact, slight red/orange hue. Beautiful bottle.
