This is so well rounded! Dried flowers on the nose, followed by a palate with cherry up front and black licorice (anise) that's been rolled around in the dirt and picked up some spice along the way on the finish.

Quite a pleasant drink. This is starting to help me understand certain California Tempranillo expressions. Very Cali Grenache and Cali Pinot noir-like in terms of body, texture, flavor and weight. Well-balanced.

The importance of being Enfield. A rare treat last night thanks to @Max Kogod. Johnny Law knocks it out of the park (again). California at its best! Lush but brambly, rich and balanced. Simply outstanding.
