I love this wine. One of the best St. Jo Blancs. Nose is expansive and ripe with exotic tropical fruits and lots of gras. Also granite and lime jelly and liquified lemon jelly. Sea air as well. So clean. Palate is so finesse driven with awesome texture and depth. Energy from granite but definetly not for acid heads. Rich, long finish with tropical fruits and granite. Needs air.

Ahhhh. White Rhone. The wine I drink alone the most as nobody I know really likes it. This is what happens when you’re “The Riesling Guy.” White Rhone is essentially the Anti Riesling. So I get it but opposites attract. This is one of the best St. Joseph Blanc. A nose more reminiscent of elite white burg than than St. Joseph. But it’s got all that. And more. Some minerals, some sea breeze, a richness but buffeted by the intense granitic minerality. Just stunning. Palate is ripe and unctuous but also tense and mineral. Good acid but not great but a palate staining finish is to die for. So precise and the honey suckle and just ripe tropical fruit flavors echo so long. Almost tannic with a stunning structure. Just a brilliant brilliant wine.

Nose is a bit quiet. Some caramel, tropical and yellow fruits but seems backwards and tightly coiled. Lovely elegant minerals. Very pretty and restrained. Love the strong granite component and elegant and subtle tropicality. Palate is just awesome. Rich, elegant, textured, opulent and shockingly pure. Amazing finesse. This is a very elite St. Joseph Blanc. Terrific gras, so much energy and freshness for days. This is as good as St. Joseph Blanc can get outside of Gripa Le Berceau Blanc. Wonderful. Excited to see it develop.

Floral, broad, delicious. Some exotic citrus, lily, honey, fresh herbs on the nose. Great mineral spice, long sparky finish. Bravo.
