Le Mont Benoit 1er Cru Extra Brut Champagne Pinot Meunier Blend
Villers-Aux-Nœuds, Montagne de Reims, Champagne, FrancePinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
Top Notes For
Villers-Aux-Nœuds, Montagne de Reims, Champagne, FranceLots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish

Absolutely lovely. A single vineyard producer, most of this is from 2010 harvest. Bright fruit, fuller weight and texture and a touch of toasty brioche on the finish.

New find for me, toasty brioche yet bone dry. Really lovely stuff, thanks to James from Cru Bar in Brisbane for the rec.

Gorgeously precise and mineral with apple and floral overtones. Fine bead. A new find courtesy of @sfchampagne
