Light, tart, very mineral and snappy. Smoke, peppercorn, flowers. Very reductive upon opening, needed lots of aeration. Found sulfide/mercaptan component lingering throughout. On a positive it’s simple, quaffable and cheap, albeit not as exciting as previous wines from Envinate.

Like trousseau and gamay made a baby. Delicious and so fun to drink.

The similarities between Nerello Mascalese are abundant. Listán Negro smells of ash and rocks, tastes of red fruit, and os utterly appealing. Volcanic wines, all day long y’all

Woah so tasty. Freshly picked brambly red fruit-- cherry, strawberry, raspberry--, delicate meatiness, bit of animal funk, big tomato/tomato stem.

Light color intensity and lovely brick red hue.
The only thing that could elevate this wine even more would be a bit more acid to lift it even more.

"Tenerife Pinot" 90.7

Dried herbs and spices, a little gamey, but tart enough red fruit to balance it all out. I really enjoyed this. Volcanic soils in the Canary Islands.

Reductive and a little eggy, which has diminished a lot after being open and jostling around my car for a day.
The aroma is packed with crushed pepper, dried herbs, and a hint of gaminess alongside some minerality.
The gamey quality really inserts itself into the flavor along with the crushed black pepper along with some tart Balaton cherry skins and a kiss of candied cherries. The reductive quality is still there lurking in the background.
