Lovely, crisp, and bright. A transparent yellow color in the glass with a slight tinge of green. The nose is fresh and lively with hints of grass and sunshine. There’s a bit of honey and green apples to complement the citrus aromas. Honeysuckle and honeydew along with a faint spice notes.
It’s terribly hard to find a standout Sauvignon Blanc but this is one. Charming with depth and character. Supple and generous immediately. There’s just the right level of acidity, not too stark and not too limp. Nice minerality and wonderful structure. The palate is expressive with melon and lemon initially. Apples and herbal essences on the long finish. A beautiful Sauvignon Blanc.
