Mid Lemon in colour. Paraffin/Kerosene aromas are dominant on the nose with white flowers, mineral, and over ripe Apple. Palate shows orange rind and citrus in general with a honeyed note. Medium bodied yet full of flavour, medium plus intensity and also retaining a refreshing finish. In summary, a wonderful aged Clare Valley Riesling at its peak. It’s a close run thing but on the strength of this I’m starting to prefer aged Clare Valley Riesling over aged Eden Valley Riesling narrowly.
