Gave me all the funk I’ve been missing out on lately. Reminded me a whole lot of the weirdest wine I’ve ever had in my life - that happened to be from the Ardeche - which made sense when I realized it was also Syrah-dominant. Scrumptious!

Crosby gets the Tempranillo, Stills the Syrah, Nash the Sumoll and Neil didn’t really get a grape in this blend...he’s still great though.

In the Correnielson style this baby had me feeling like it was aged in amphora or concrete. This bambino was funky in an elegant style. Tannins were moderate. Great funky finish. Father in law hated the earthiness so I knew it was a good one.

Cheerios on the nose. Quite effervescent, light bodied, earthy. Better after breathing and flattening out a bit, likely improved with a chill.
