Medium Ruby, a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, aromas of berry fruits and floral scents with slight citrus tang. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors with a sweet herb spice. Fine tannins, great mouthfeel, long finish ending with mineral character. Nice! Still tasting well!

Surprise as this wine did evolve and developed into a great QPR - nice and smiles were happening

Fairly textbook rendering, albeit a bit more polished than most. Espresso, violets, black pepper, fresh thyme.

Very nice vintage of Cote Rotie. Still a baby, but showing some nice potential. The nose was full of caramel coffee, almost masking other tell tale signs of Syrah that were still present - aged meat, black pepper, black licorice, and nutmeg. The pallet was very richly textured with racy tannins, exhibiting notes of dark cherries, blackberry cobbler, burnt espresso bean, and a smooth cocoa finish. I'd love to have paired this with a coffee cake or tirimasu, but BBQ would do.

Light Ruby, with red fruit and floral aromas. On the palate sweet raspberries, complex spice, with toasty oak characteristics. The wind was rich, had fine tannins and was well balanced. Very Nice!

Braised meat and flowers. Great acidity, fantastic balance. Amazing Cote Rotie.
