2003: very secondary, meaty, earthy, raisin, figgy. Not aged gracefully. Black olive, balsamic, herbal, lightly volatile. Very dried fruit palate, lacking the freshness, softening on tannin, meaty, mealy. Lacking length. Okay.

Over four years since last rating. Complexity has increased. Needs a two hour decant to let the wine express itself. Just phenomenal (and this bottle made it through a tropical cyclone and meandering wander in a container through a hot SE Asian summer!).

This has developed amazingly. Earthy and very Syrah complex on the front end but then the finish from the Viognier is like brandy. Perfect time to consume!
