It’s been a day: rehearsal, study, performance more study so I deserved to crack this. I gave the 2010 a ten but I was just learning. Also 2014 not as good a get but this still stands up. There’s a reason I’m a member of Dutcher. It (she!) never fails. I taste the 18% Syrah and I’m into it. It brings the pepper n earth. I know I rated the 2013 I wish I had both to compare. The cab is rich and ripe and it’s a smooth one. Acid and alcohol: rather high. Tannins: high but velvety. And damn but this wine is purple thank you Syrah? Anyway it is a fitting reward for a busy, productive and entertaining (creating and absorbing) day. Go team Cali Cab.

Really great drinking wine. Would be good with good but wouldn’t completely stand up to bigger reds.
