Wow! 12 years old and still tasting fresh. Strawberry notes hide behind initial red plum and white pepper. Tannins are relatively huge; an unexpected acidic bite is intriguing and welcome (and maybe part of why it still tastes so fresh).

Sep 16th, 20192012 is still jammy, but profound, a great "notter botter". Unfortunately, there are no more DV Grenaches after the 2014 vintage. But if you like Grenache, new world especially, this is the bomb. For DV and Grenache now, go to the Squirrel Tooth Alice, which is even more yum!

Aug 17th, 2017Grenache just doesn't get any better than this! Exploding w/ wonderful raspberry and red plum, just enough acidity to grip your tongue and linger for a deliciously long time. Dios mio!!
