Absolutely fabulous 29 year old cab from Carmel valley’s oldest Cabernet vineyard planted at 1500’ in 1968. Almost Bordeaux like with some California weight. Beautiful dark mahogany. Still has some primary fruit (dusty dark cherry) complimented by notes of tobacco, Cedar and subtle dill. Well made and still has a lot of life. I love these old durney wines.

These old durney cabs keep going and going. Dark in color still with an evolved but nowhere near 'dead' nose. The palate is still fresh and beckons another sip. Beautifully made carmel valley cab from the oldest vineyard in the AVA

1992 carmel valley cab. All red no brown. Still super young and fresh. Insane! Bordeaux like. Tons of red cherry, cassis, green tobacco. Just awesome stuff. Remarkable.
