Nice enough but what I would call an upper crust J white….somewhat acidic, subdued, just the slightest bit bitter….not bold enough for me yet not elegant like a Mersault…just not that interesting. J loves it

Hay, gun powder, a bright lemon, a buttery note, toast, : a textbook côte de Beaune chardonnay nose. The palate is a model : a sheer and powerful acid backbone, a nice buttery touch on the sides, lemon and an oaky, toasty theme that plays along the acid backbone, a long lemony finish. Impressive: not as powerful and wide as most meursault I’ve had but more in a subtle, elegant manner. Much more my style.
