A hint of old world charm

Earthy, slightly savory notes meld with black fruit and espresso on the palate. The finish is mildly tangy, with suggestions of black cherry and underbrush. No hurry on these, as they have both the structure and the acidity to continue aging well. This bottle showed best after 2+ hours of air.

A little underwhelming, feel like I should’ve opened earlier

"Love your mother"! In a sweet spot now but still firmly tannic. Starting to shed baby fat.

Pretty tight, even with a couple hours of decanter time.
