This Montepulciano was slightly oaky with a sweet finish, low acidity. Very good!

2013. Very good. Oak is up front. Subtle sweetness, with a slightly bitter aftertaste (in a good way). Not a harsh red at all.

So oaky that I feel like a lumberjack licking a fresh cut tree. Sits on your palette as easy as a hummingbird resting on your eyelash. Silken (like Lauman) finish with a toe warming descent.
