Finger Lakes Merlot

Characteristics of baking spices and honey with citrus undertones. I enjoyed with a slightly spiced vegetable curry and it paired beautifully

Blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, licorice, oak and hints of prune. Great acidity and quite tannic.

Mineral and a light sea water smell. But a structured mouthfeel with a hint of white peaches, pear with a balanced acidity and honey-like finish.

Enjoyable! Delicious. A little simple, but very good.

Nice dry Riesling

One of my favorite finger lakes Merlots!! Berry spice with smoke at the start with a mild cherry and a hit of smoke through to the end. Keep your lips tight at the end and it will "simmer" and extra moment in your mouth!!

Big, rich and dense. Needed time to open up but then chocolate and bitter coffee and cinnamon. Fruit in the background. Hard to believe it still was great. Vintage 2007, purchased Sept. 2009.

Light cherry fruits, high tannin but high mineral giving ginger flavor
