Torrented is just not my thing. Too floral on the nose and too bitter on the palate.

By itself, this wine is just good. But add some lime and ice, and this wine becomes excellent!!

Cafayate, Argentina is home to the most impressive wines from the Torrontes grape. Crisp with very pronounced clean citrus/stone fruit and some spicy character is a terrific apertif any time of the year. A long finish allows this wine to linger on the palate for several minutes. At $10 or less, this wine is a ridiculous steal given the producers other Torrontes offerings are closer to $15 (if you can find any of them).

perfect for spicy seafood/miso kale salad. perfume nose of pomelo and gooseberry but chalk mineral bitterness mid palate. almost a hint of green wood resin though this is pure stainless. really like it!
