I’ve had the famous sweet wine from this producer and terroir/varietal (that being the amazing Ben Ryé), but never this dry light version. The nose barrels you over with lavender - come to find out that tiny Pantelleria is dotted with lavender fields...who knew? Low alcohol, super fresh, citric zest, again the lavender, and baking spices on the palate. You can feel the Mediterranean winds blow by you sip this...
