Just like eating blueberry pie!
Paired with a beautiful, roasted lamb sirloin.

All sorts of love in this bottle. Delicious flavor and supple tannins.

Apr 6th, 2016Pretty consistently my favorite Donelan bottle. This one is very well balanced. Savory, accessible, dark red fruit, some tannins on the finish. 13.7 abv.

May 15th, 2017Purplish color and strong legs. Blueberry and peppered beef on the nose and palate. The finish is short, lacking and thin. Vibrant, but something is just missing here. Overall am super disappointed given the brand and price.

Aug 13th, 2016Nice deep purple color. Sents of leather and tar open being uncorked. Its medium to full bodied. Blackberries with firm tannins. Very nice wine!

Jan 1st, 2016Baking spices, ripe dark fruits and alcohol on the nose. The palate is filled with raisins, blackberry, currants and tar. Medium body. Gripping tannins. Medium finish. Good, but not worth the price tag.
