Very smooth. Nose presents with milk chocolate, berries and plums. Tastes of jammy fruit, dark berries, violets, and iron minerals on the mid palate.

Nov 24th, 2022This Malbec has a beautiful, deep-garnet color to it. It has a ripe, red berry aroma along with violet scents. It’s soft throughout with a nice balance of tannins on the finish. There’s a pleasant bit of acidity in the mid palate along with red fruit, maybe cranberry. Overall, I don’t get many actual flavors in this wine, it’s a technically complex Malbec. Disappointingly low on fruit flavors.

Foiled again by Peter and the Dungeness crab.
This Malbec is certainly full of berries.

More acidic, light tannins, more earthy/woodsy, cola? Drinkable but would try a different wine next time.
