Very oaky, good length and complexity.

2012 is 92pct Malbec/8pct Cabernet aged 13 months in 80pct new and 20pct second year French oak. Great wine that tastes way above its cost. Love the oak in this one.

NOSE: wood ash, cherry, earthworm, moldy books. Ehhh.

TASTE: actually pretty good. Blackberry, cherry, wood ash tannin, balancing acidity. Not as good as I’d hoped, but got it on closeout. 89.

Inky black Malbec. Licorice and tobacco notes. Very earthy “dirty” sniff. Very dry.

2019 Vintage. Dark fruit (plum, dates,raisins). Baked bread

Plum, leather, oak and clove … these are the predominant flavors that I was able to identify in this wonderful label from this renowned winery, excellent experience! Health!

Sweet, candy floral nice aftertaste

Dry but full bodied and lovely smooth notes of black cherry and black plums. Proper boozy at 14.5%

Purple hue, dark fruit on the nose, finish of spice and tobacco.
