Solid effort, eschewing the fruity style of Malbec, fruit forward but not jammy

Pretty notes of rustic dark cherry and prune. Sweet entry, especially on the mid palate. Tapirs quickly. I'm lukewarm.

2011. Tobacco and dark chocolate aromas with dark fruit and stewed prune flavors. Still has some nice tannins (not bitter or too drying) that keep it from getting cloying after a glass or two. We had some friends that really liked Malbec, so we picked up a few for the cellar and never got around to drinking them… this wine worked well as an after dinner “dessert” without the sweetness of a similar flavored port.

A true blue great Malbec very very good

This is a fantastic Malbec. Beautiful intense dark fruits.

Classic.

Syrupy sweet on front end.
