Big and powerful with rose jam, truffle, and cedar plank on the nose. There's an underlying funk of truffle and red meat in the mouth that is interesting, pulling through to a spicy finish. Drinking well now but has plenty of years left on it.

Intense, spicy, little tannic, but will be great with the prime rib we are about to have. Would probably age well; but quickly softens with a little decanting.
