Big and powerful with rose jam, truffle, and cedar plank on the nose. There's an underlying funk of truffle and red meat in the mouth that is interesting, pulling through to a spicy finish. Drinking well now but has plenty of years left on it.

Typical black fruit, anise, a hint of chocolate and spice, fruit on the attack but then tannin locks it down.

Delivers well now - hommage to Dominico Clerico who sadly died now 4 weeks ago too young at the age of 67 after having lost his battle with cancer. A stylist making a-typical Barolo's and a grand winemaker.

Intense, spicy, little tannic, but will be great with the prime rib we are about to have. Would probably age well; but quickly softens with a little decanting.
