Ciabot Mentin Ginestra Barolo Nebbiolo
Absolutely in its prime. Leather, rich sandalwood, elegant as I’ve had. Near it’s peak.

Nov 5th, 2015Youthful aromas of black cherries and tar; deep and quite classically structured, with well-integrated tannins. I would give this another four or five years of cellaring before trying again.

May 23rd, 2015It was a little intense at first. It was powerful and dense on the palate. Gorgeous aromas. After 20 mins it became musky with black cherry, plum & a shade of mint. It went well with fish (that's all I eat) & with meat. I enjoyed its lovely finish with its tannins. We also brought this bottle with us. It was not on their wine list.
