'07 vintage
Serious, tight and on the austere side.
Mouthfeel is striking. Tannins are MASSIVE, coating the entire mouth, letting a magnificent dark cherry emerging. I absolutely loved this wine. A keeper, give it ten years collaring as the tannins are quite present.

This wine’s been shut down tight as a drum ever since I acquired it five or six years ago based on Antonio’s recommendation. But tonight, it finally started to strut its stuff and what fine, aromatically complex, stuff it is! Thank you., Antonio!

Still tightly wound that is structured with chewy tannins showing red fruits, leather, tar, dried herbs & rose petal.

Classic old school style Barolo that is structured with chewy tannins & good acidity showing red fruits, leather, tar, dried herbs & rose petal. Even though most would want to give this a few more years in the cellar I liked the way it showed with its balance of tannins, acid & fruit.

Full bodied - huge for the varietal. Massive tannins that will take some years to tame. Can’t wait! BTW I’M MOVING TO MIAMI - who of you on Delectable is Miami-based? Would love to connect!

Still had tannins and a slightly bitter finale. But otherwise very nice.
