Really enjoyed this. You’d barely know it came from grapes though. All dirt, all day.

Mar 28th, 2018Really good as it opens up with time.. All barnyard, forest floor, star anise, and cinnamon stick on the nose.. Bright cranberry and some woodsiness on the palate.. Well rounded tannins. Great bottle for $20 for a value burgundy.. This is what inexpensive Oregon Pinot aspires to be.

Jun 15th, 2020Be patient with this one. Watery fruit punch at first. Let it sit open and boy does it develop. Rich plum, tart cherry, clove, star anise, slight oak, and leather. Some good mouthfeel and balanced tannins. Nutty aftertaste eventually.
