Too young but couldn't wait to try. This is big but in the old world way not much oak just explosive aromatics, great structure and texture

Dense, broody & chewy, with stewed blueberry & blackcurrant, a touch of cassis with a backdrop of mocha & tobacco leaf. This has some power but also surprising freshness. And the quality of tannins is great - big yet juicy & finely grained.
Great with a nice piece from the grill.

😯 having this in the mix with some great Burgandies and it’s a bit overpowering. Great wine. The kind I’d have everyday with a charred ribeye, but a bit much next to the burgundies and French fare. Check out the bottle. The owner of the place said and wrote on the bottle that this was his Chou Chou. I think it meant it was his favorite from his translation attempt. Super dense; blackberry, currant, pepper, and a little anise. In love with France.

Majorité cabernet sauvignon avec Syrah et mourvèdre.
Gros potentiel, c'est très bon mais un peu jeune. On sent encore l'élevage. Les tanins sont assez souples, c'est déjà complexe

Three days in a row! Much more saturated/concentrated. Showing fish/soy sauce quality. Syrah still hanging in there.

I thought this was immediately Mourvedre so was blown away that this was Syrah and Cab. Bitter chocolate, mentholated cedar wood. Some sea water. So interesting and lovely.

Two days in a row with this lovely southern French lady. A little more polished tonight. Curious to see what she will be like tomorrow.

A little like Trévallon with a touch of P. Jasmin's Côte-Rôtie and Grange des Pères backbone. Nicely done, and gone too fast!
