That quince touch that I associate with Chilean carbernets, cassis, menthol and a meaty note too. The palate is well made with a good acid drive, some cassis, some meat but there is a salty note all along that prevents me from liking this. Tannins are OK in the rear, just adding a drying layer and some grain texture but it's lacking fruit too be fun and good. Third wine tasted over the weekend and this disapointment. I'm on a streak...
