Sep 22nd, 2018Very interesting and surprising wine (considering the connection to the Lafite shouldn’t be a surprise :)
Dark ruby shine color. Great nose with blackberries compote, mint and smoked capsicum.
In mouth, well balanced with mid body, decent acidity/tannins, black cherries, fresh (somehow), great/balanced fruitness, even better after 1 hours with more “bouquet” and delicious end in mouth.

Another blind tasting, Carminha got the grape, I got the barnyard smell, cherry, full bodied but with great clarity. Very nice.

Nice Chilean cab flavors. Chocolate and spice, good cherry fruit. Light body. Falls off quickly. Gentle tannins.

1992 reserve $3.95. Can't believe this bottle of wine. I can not remember who recommended this wine to me but if you are out there THANKS.
