Second take for this wine a few months later. My previous note still stands. Nice, very quaffable cabernet from Chile very soft around the edges, with a tiny bit of residual sugar, black currant, light oaky notes, a discreet quince note too and some tar . The palate is not very long but rather broad, with nice cherry and black currant notes, a bit of a sweet spot, very soft and round tannins. A good, sweet and fruity finish that comes to an end quite quickly. Simple stuff, affordable. Crowd pleaser designed not to scare off wine geeks like us (though it's not worth of a pour-of-the-year award).

Opened yesterday. Nice, lighter Chilean cabernet with a very light oak treatment. Black currant, quince, a bit of oak in the rear but it's very discreet. The palate is well made, with a good acid drive, nice black currant and savoury notes all along, gentle, caressing tannins in the rear and a rather long finish with a tiny drying layer and some black currant and savoury, almost meaty notes.
