Had enough funk that would have tripped me in a blind tasting bc of the transparency and Pinot notes to be called a village level red Burg. Nice.

Very cool ancient varietal, Limniona. A delicate wine with dark fruit, dried flowers & herb aromas. Plum, anise, earthiness and a slight salinity.
Great food wine!

Gassy, cloudy and volatile but certainly the first Limniona I've ever tasted. Washed down our food nicely.

Oh hell yeah! Lighter compaired to most Greek reds I've had. Beautiful blue and purple fruits, beautiful acidity, supple tannins. Black pepper, bramble, violets minerality.

My first experience with the Limnonia grape, which is apparently rare even in Greece. Light bodied with an enticing Pinot Noir like nose. A little simple and less elegant on the palate, but an interesting and easy drinking quaff that went well with grilled lamb.
