Purchased on release . Shame on me, I did a very poor job of allowing it to show its best. I did not decant this hours before. Aromatically reserved with moments of cherry & cranberry. In the mouth generous acidity but built like a block of marble. Once again only hints of what is there. My first time with Truchot and given the pricing likely my last😢.

There aren't too many better from this vintage. A little green on the nose, but just a little. But very nice texture and it all comes together on the palate. What Jacky did w/ '03 & '04 is pretty amazing.

Funky, stinky, earthy, herbaceous, but damn good and intoxicating. Goji berries, red raspberries and cherries. Slightly metallic. Super elegant and cool. Intensity and concentration is much higher than all the wines.
