Vignes Blanches Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay

Worth hauling from the Macon to Geneva to Paris back to Cali. Precision PF with wonderful minerality and sense if place .

Good Macon chard! Flavors of vanilla and smooth.

Really nice well balanced Chardonnay. Nice mineral balanced against subtle oak notes. Very subtle and very French!

An intense nose of orchard fruit , hazel nut and well integrated oak. Fills the mouth with well balanced flavors of pears, apples and tangerines, very polished

Starts off with oak, honey and pears . Very good "components" but another year could help lessen the oak influence . Very good underlying material.

Awesome Chardonnay. Subtle hints of vanilla, light sparkle of wood and licorice. Sassy but not pretentious. I love it!!

This was a standout wine in two weeks of standout wines. From the private cave of a new friend - thanks, Dom. I wish I could really describe it but I'm writing this comment weeks after the event. Really, really good.
