Clearly new world. Fruity and jammy. But at the price point and with Terlato and Chapoutier associated with the wine how can you go wrong

Nice Australian Shiraz-Viognier in a Northern Rhone-style. Dark plum and blackberry fruit which is rich and velvety, without being overly extracted. Violet, floral notes, with peppery spice and smoke. Nice minerality.

I was really happy with this wine. A cote rotie style Syrah from down under. Bright floral notes with rich smokey red fruit. Medium body, not a lot on the mid palate but had some nice tannins that were balanced and restrained. Medium acidity and as it opened the deep red and black fruits opened up.

Big nose. Rounded and soft but not as full as the nose suggests. Finished short.
