I gave it an hour to open up and it never really did. Good flavors in a stout wine but the tannins never really dissipated or maybe more the flavors never fully developed. I love CDP and while this wasn’t a horrible bottle it just wasn’t up to most bottles I’ve had.

Relegated to cooking wine. I don't think it was flawed, I just think it was bad. Aromas are a mix of fruit, cigar box, and rancid garbage can. Palate has similar mix with a bad after taste.
