Feb 23rd, 2016Peppercorn and cherry on the nose; not too tannic but could probably use another year or two to develop. Pretty smooth; flavor of peppercorn; dry; not too long of a finish.

Jan 1st, 2016Dark garnet. Very distinct white pepper aroma on the nose. Spicy notes of clove and licorice currently much more pronounced than any red fruit flavors. A little too early right now. The tannins need a bit of time to settle and allow for a more complete integration. A little astringent now but that is entirely a function of age. Not bad though for $15.
