A cranberry nose and palette that very much intrigues not just for the main berry note but for an interesting nuttiness that comes forward as well. A very nice glass that I would have liked to have tried with a few food pairings. Buy a couple of bottles and play! There's a lot going on here.

Mostly smoky light meatiness here with a touch of vanilla here. Kind of a pepperoni. Tasting I found a flavor that didn't exactly appeal to me and later realized it was almost spot-on blue cheese. Ripe cherry, pepper, vanilla and a prosciutto mouth-feel. That earthy blue cheese taste though! Such a cool tool for pairings. Syrah-Cinsault-Grenache on the blend here.

Wonderful balance in this blend. Plenty of tannin for structure but great fruit taste. The whole package
