Earthy, barny but not too much. A red you could have with grilled chicken. So interesting, medium body but not rich or too intense.

Great recommendation from Vino Verité in Columbia City. Beautiful, easy-drinking red from the Rhone with just enough complexity to keep you interested. Perfect to bring to a party!

Good fruit, decent acid, nice grip to the tannins, a little pepper, good & noticeable earth/funk on the nose. Good length. Not bombastic or amazing at any point, but it's definitely good. Versatile too.
Update after one glass and further thought:
Awesome. The earth and tannin and balanced depth to this is really better than I thought initially.
