Sep 10th, 2019A pleasant surprise. Produced mostly out of Rousanne with a masterful touch of viognier, this was a class act - especially given my disdain for both varieties. Herve's brought a certain precision to the wine, no flabiness, and I would go so far as call it elegant! Floral, stone fruits, slightly oxi honeyed tones, tasty stony finish. Some VA, but not an issue. Nice work.

Nov 29th, 2018Not what I was expecting, somehow! Not what I thought I should associate with Rhone whites, tho maybe that’s unfair? I liked it a lot, and I’ve heard that some bottle age really finesses the wine, but I haven’t seen that yet. It’s very good: pretty, slightly floral, full textured, waxy, with a touch of oak or MLF
