Ile des Vergelesses Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Juicy fruit, light. Not too much going on tbh

Terrific wine in its own right but certainly a great QPR. Dark cherry core, black currant leaf, forest floor, toasted wood with intensity and a long finish. High but refined tannins that are perfectly balanced with high acidity and a bright fruity core.

Goes down easy with a little peppery finish. Delightful.
