Fried burdock root, herbs/medicinal in a positive way, some sandalwood, cool black raspberries and blue berries. Brimming with minerality. Very elegant with smoothly textured tannins. A good bottle but still a step behind LB.

Dec 25th, 2018Currently showing very modern, with a lot of unintegrated new oak. Arnoux’s 2001s are drinking well with no oakiness, so I’m hoping this just needs a lot more time.
